Amurri Town Hospital

Amurri Town is a remote community in Enugu State of Nigeria. Neglected by the African Government the residents are crying out for help.

A major concern is that the death rate of infants and mothers is significant. Mothers lose their lives and their babies lives often through childbirth. This is a result of no nearly hospital. These mothers neither attend anti-natal clinics, nor go to to the hospital during childbirth because of bad infrastructure and poor roads coming from the neighbouring communities into the city hospital, most heightened during the rainy season.

This hospital, when built, in the remote town of Amurri will go a long way in providing quality and affordable health care services. This will reduce the rate of mortality and morbidity of infants and mothers during pregnancy, childbirth, and post-natal care.
